INTENSIVE CARE UNIT AND CORONARY CARE UNIT

  • Intensive Care Unit

“Based on the concept of progressive care dependent on disease severity, it consists of four suites; one for patients of utmost severity usually requiring mechanical breathing assistance, one for immediate postoperative care, and two for different degrees of stepdown care”.

  • Coronary Care Unit

“This unit consists of 10 individual rooms, each with a private bathroom and accommodation for an accompanying family member. It was built after a two-year Fund Raising effort, spearheaded by the Roberts family, after whom the Unit is named. It cares for cardiac patients”.

  • Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

“It has four rooms for children, one of them being for isolation, if necessary. It is also the product of a Fund Raising campaign, being inaugurated in the year 2004”.
