Being a non-for-profit organisation, the British Hospital is not subsidised by any public or private, national or foreign institution. For this reason, the Hospital’s income derives from services and donations, and is entirely reinvested in the institution.

The Hospital provides medical care for more than one million patients per year. As a University Hospital, it is dedicated to academic excellence, training the best health care professionals. Its centennial School of Nursing has been training nurses non-stop since 1890. The big difference is due to the help we get from people and businesses who assist us in turning our projects into realities.

The Fundraising SubCommittee was created in 2001 with the aim of implementing a strategies to raise funds for use in building and technological infrastructure projects, as well as for the creation of a fund aimed at grants for training doctors and nurses. The purpose of this committee is to offer patients highest-quality, cutting-edge healthcare services for their care and recovery.
